Pete Giesbrecht

Canadian Board Member

Pete became a Christ-follower at age 22. From leading youth groups, assisting a school-based Christian club, singing worship, or serving on the Missions, Building, or Property Committees at his church, Pete always loves being involved where the Lord is working! After his retirement from teaching auto body in 2001, he attended Friends In Action work trips to West Africa, and eventually was invited to serve on our Canadian board. Currently, Pete enjoys working on his 20+ year hot rod project, and is looking forward to celebrating his 50th wedding anniversary with Pauline.

Pete’s wife Pauline was also highly involved with youth outreach as she worked as a high school Family Studies teacher and later as an elementary school librarian. Since her retirement in 2008, she has taught Sunday School, mentored young women and a widow, and run an Alpha and Mom’s Connect group. Pete and Pauline have raised three sons, and now are enjoying their 6 grandsons!
