We are so grateful for the talent, education, and the life experiences represented through the people at Friends In Action. Our team welcomes any opportunity to tell of God’s amazing faithfulness and work around the world! Churches, small groups, businesses, homes, mission conferences or prayer groups – if there are ears to hear, we have stories to share!
After coming to Christ at age 6, Tim was raised as a “missionary kid” in the mountains of Papua New Guinea. Tim has 37 years of full-time mission service (New Tribes Mission 16 years, and FIA for 21 years). He spent 11 years in Bolivia, 5 years in Papua New Guinea, and over 21 years developing the ministries and fields of FIA. He founded the Boards of Canada and the United Kingdom and established NGO status for FIA in the countries of Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, and Nicaragua. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in Cross Cultural Ministry, but more importantly has a passion to see every tribe, tongue, and nation reached with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Our resident “nice guy” Paul Brosey is happy to talk about the importance of missions and using your giftedness towards fulfilling the Great Commission. With his over 30 years of construction and work team experience, Paul is passionate about using infrastructure projects to reach the unreached and advance the Gospel.
Through gathering and editing field stories, creating Facebook posts, and collaborating on web updates, Shannon loves to tell the story of God’s work through FIA! “I feel so humbled and blessed to get to be part of such important and meaningful work. I love what I do, who I do it with, and especially Who I do it for.” Shannon would be excited to share with your women’s groups or help children take part in the Great Commission.
